How to Make a Bedtime Herbal Tea.

Herbal Teas are a perfect way of placing goodness into your system.

Herbs which can be used for bedtime 

Lettuce ( use a handful of  leaves) it’s is known to induce sleep, if one suffers from insomnia. Its I very effective and found in most places in the world.

  • lemon balm ( it is known for it’s nervous system properties and helps the body to enter into a calm state to prepare for bedtime.chamomile and lemon balm
  • lemon verbena
  • chamomile
  • valerian
  • passion flower
  • strawberry leaf ( used for its nervous system properties ) very easy to grow.

Place water in a pan (preferably distilled water) bring to boil. Once boiling, turn off the cookerPlace the herbs into the pan, and let it sit for 10 min, ( the longer you let it sit the stronger the tea.

NEVER use a microwave to boil the water, if you can filter the water if you do not own a water distiller.

Whenever possible use a distilled water for teas. Tap water contain many chemicals, which are used to stop the erosion of pipes, and many are used in treatment plants to kill and dead animals which may of come into contact with the water. When you drink water , its in your blood stream within the next 30 min. imagine having these chemicals in your blood, your kidney would have to work extra hard to remove them. which would result in your kidneys being overworked in the long run.
